Top 10 Cat Trees Reviews of 2017

Your cat is a part of your family, and that means their happiness is going to be just as important to you as anyone else. We’ve gathered up the Best Cat Tree reviews for you. When you want to keep your cats in the best frame of mind possible, you need to give them a cat condo of epic proportions – not only will they have a little place to relax and hangout, but it will appeal to their natural urges as well. Your cats are always looking towards you (the owner) for love and care, because that’s what you mean to them. You are their entire lives, especially if they aren’t outdoors cats; that’s why it’s crucial that you give them the best condo tree possible.

There are a lot of condo trees to be considered, and every single one will have a different benefit to make use of. The brand manufacturing the cat tree itself is going to be important, as well as the features implemented. Price point is important, but it’s not something that I’m going to focus on today.

Why a Cat Tree?

If you wanted to purchase a cat scratcher that was going to double as a house of sorts, these are the most optimal products to be looking at. They’re much larger than the average cat scratcher, and feature a number of different things for your cat to love. Some will have multiple posts for scratching and stretching, others will feature designs that keep your cat relatively high off the ground. Cats love perching up high, just as much as they love stretching/scratching! I’m going to look at 10 different cat trees, all of which I’ve felt like were the best to consider in 2017. Let’s dive into, shall we?

Best Cat Tree Reviews

Go Pet Club (Multi-Tower) – Go Pet Club delivers a high-quality cat scratcher with their multi-tower model, featuring compressed wood, faux fur and sisal rope. It’s on the expensive side, as are most cat condo trees, but it has a lot to offer. You can attach the extended pieces as you please, which means you don’t need to build the tower as high as the picture on the box would permit – it’s almost like it’s customizable!

Midwest Homes for Pets (Square) – This model features a square/cube design and is one of the sturdiest products you can find (in regards to a condo cat tree). There’s a hide-away hole which lets your cats play, and it also collapses flat for both storage and travel. There’s another small hole for the cats arms to go in/out of, and even a furry little ball to smack around. The dimensions are 15.5 x 15.5 x 16.5, featuring brown faux suede with a fleece bed topper. It’s not only one of the most comfortable options to purchase for your feline, but it works well with most home décor as well! When the cat condo looks just as good as your couch, you know you’ve made a great purchase.

Furhaven Pet (Multi-Tower) – The Furhaven Pet brand did a great job with this cat condo, as it’s one of the more extensive options found on this list. It’s quite large (19.7 x 19.7 x 69.3 inches), it also features a dangling mouse toy and sisal scratching post. It comes in a variety of different colors, and the tree itself is large enough to keep multiple cats occupied. The jumbo variety is one I would recommend, although they do come in “Medium” and “Large” as well (Floor-to-Ceiling is also an option). Plush fabric and spring ball wand toy make this a viable option for any household.

Go Pet Club (Multi-Tower) – Another multi-tower design, this rendition of condo cat tree will have your pets lounging around in style. It isn’t the largest, but it’s still reasonable – the dimensions are 19 x 19 x 16 inches. The materials consist of compressed wood, faux fur and sisal rope. There are two extended towers and a housing structure here, which will allow your cats to experience comfort in both settings. Go Pet Club is known for producing high-quality items, so I have faith in them for this specific need. A great cat condo all around!

SmartCat (Multi-Tower) – The second-tallest on this list would be the condo cat tower available from SmartCat. The dimensions are 9 x 6 x 82 inches, so you can see that this tower is one that focuses on height. If you have a feline that happens to love being up high, this is the cat condo for you! The scratching post implemented within is natural sisal, which is going to encourage the release of excess stress in your cats. When they stretch themselves out, it’s like a massage of sorts – SmartCat isn’t a lackluster company by any means, as well. 4 out of 5 people would recommend it, so it’s got to be good!

SmartCat (High-Angle Scratcher) – We’ve looked at the traditional condo cat tower from SmartCat, but this model is a traditional high-angle scratcher. It’s good for those of you who don’t need a very large tower to work with, but it’s still relatively large (16 x 16 x 35 inches!). It’s 32 inches high, allowing the cats to stretch out as they please, and it’s easily assembled with only two screws. The base is very sturdy and prevents the tower from tipping over, which is a problem with much larger options. It’s very durable and will let your cats get the most out of their stretches!

AmazonBasics (Multi-Tower) – If you wanted a simple and straightforward solution to your cat scratching needs, AmazonBasics has you covered. This cat tree has three platforms for your cat to make use of, with 7 scratching posts in total (comprised of sisal for durability). The round top platform and curved sides allow your cats to scratch and any angle they could hope to achieve, and the square base keeps everything balanced out. The measurements are 15.7 x 15.7 x 47.3 inches (length by width by height), and it’s easily assembled through the instructions and screws given to you.

TRIXIE Pet Products (High-Angle Scratcher) – Affordable is the name of the game when you’re looking at the TRIXIE Pet Products high-angle scratcher. It’s ideal for those of you that don’t need a crazy cat condo tree, as well as people who only have one cat to keep happy. There’s a scratching post, as well as a scratching tower – the tower is a bit larger, of course. It’s wrapped in soft plush and features a 3 sided sisal scratching surface. The dimensions are 17.5 x 17.5 x 31.5 inches, and it even came with a rattling toy already inside! Not only that, but you don’t have to dive deep into your pockets to make the purchase – it’s like a win-win situation.

Ollieroo (Awning w/ Tower) – Don’t let the strange name fool you, Ollieroo is coming to the table with a very high-quality cat condo tower option. It’s 14 x 14 x 17.3 inches, featuring natural sisal for the scratching bridge and a pom-pom dangler. The awning included within this structure is perfect for kittens, as this probably wouldn’t be large enough for an adult cat – unless it’s a smaller breed. It’s set up in a matter of seconds, and the process is rather easy one to follow; the assembly instructions and tools are included in the box. Ollieroo did a fantastic job here, and it’s worth checking out for your frisky little feline.

North American Pet (High-Angle Scratcher) – The “Classy Kitty” is a cat condo tower from North American Pet, featuring sisal scratching posts and an abundance of color choices. It’s awesome for cats that like to scratch a lot, as the thick layers of carpet will keep this post durable and ready to go month after month. It’s plush and stain-resistant, featuring residential grade carpet – the colors you can select from would be Beige and Browns, as well as an assorted number of “natural colors”. Cats need to scratch, that’s just a matter of life; the right scratcher/tree is necessary to save your couches! You can clean this one easily by using a damp cloth, and putting it together shouldn’t prove to be an issue for anybody.

Conclusion

Now that I’ve suggested 10 rather ideal cat condos to look at, it’s up to you to make the final decision. Each one of our Cat Tree Reviews has a different set of features and benefits to offer, as well as price points; think about your budget and stick to the plan. It’s all about quality in the end, because you want a cat condo your cat is going to enjoy daily. Once you’ve got that, you’ll never have to worry about them destroying your furniture. It’s better for the both of you, as cats are much happier when they’re able to stretch out and sharpen their claws with ease – so it only makes sense to purchase a cat condo tree that’s going to be a part of your home for many days to come.

Whether you’ve got one or several cats doesn’t really matter, all that matters is you make the right purchase for your felines’ needs.

I was tired of my cat scratching up my couch, so I bought a cat scratcher. It was torn apart in 3 weeks. Now, I review cat scratchers so you don't have to declaw your cat.
